Its three-dimensional structure gives it excellent absorption properties and breathability.
Various clinical studies proving their effectiveness, which is highest during the first 6 months of life, when the skull is especially malleable. After this period it is more complex to correct such deformities as the skull takes on a greater consistency, although it is until 16-18 months (the age at which the fontanelles cranial close) when it is still possible to correct them, and more importantly, avoid the aggravation.
For this reason, prevention and early intervention are seen as the best way to approach this type of ailment, alternating the use of Pampering® with other techniques such as the transportation of the equipment or Tummy Time, or even in combination with bands ortésicas, when the case requires it.

My baby of 6 months has plagiocephaly. How can I correct it with the Cushion Cuddle®?
The Cushion Cuddle® relieves and distributes the pressure on the head as it grows. After 6 months of age, the head grows more slowly, which is why the improvement is also slower. However, until the fontanelles are not closed, there is still the possibility of correcting the asymmetry in the skull. To the extent that Pampering you can correct will depend on several factors such as: the proper morphology of the skull, the severity of the asymmetry, the age and the rate of growth of the skull, which may vary among babies.
It is important to get a treatment plan from a professional (doctor, osteopath and/or physical therapist) to perform a follow-up on the evolution of the ailment.
Is it effective to use the Cushion Cuddle® without the jacket?
Yes, clinical studies have been made of the two modes: with and without Holster Cuddling, demonstrating equal efficacy, although we strongly recommend the use of the Cover Pampering for hygienic reasons since it is a product susceptible to soiling (sweating, spitting up…).
