Mimos® Play
Mimos® Play is a product that facilitates the practice of Tummy Time and helps to correct severe deformities with its adjustable lateral position. It consists of 3 pieces to adjust to the baby’s development and age; therefore, babies can use Mimos® Play from the first weeks of life until the baby can safely endure 1 hour of Tummy Time/day.
Many parents feel that Tummy Time is a struggle; the baby does not want to spend time on its tummy. Instead, the use of the double triangle helps the baby to maintain a position close to the foetal position avoiding muscle stretching which is very uncomfortable for the newborn, and facilitating a comfortable adaptation to Tummy Time.
Mimos® Play places the baby in an ergonomic position to facilitate the practice of Tummy Time; this position is beneficial both to prevent and correct cranial deformities and to enhance the baby’s muscular and sensory abilities.

For the correction of severe head deformities, it is important to relieve pressure on the affected area of the head and to apply additional pressure on the non-flat area for at least 30 minutes a day. Therefore, physiotherapists include lateral positioning exercises in the treatment plan for cranial deformities.
